I like to add some cheese in this toast but that is purely optional. Here is how I make avocado toast with step by step photos.

Avocado toast recipe

Avocado is our favorite fruit at home. Did you know avocado is actually a fruit and a berry to be specific? The texture and flavor of avocado is suitable for making both savory and sweet dishes.

I often make guacamole, avocado salad, avocado roti or milkshake at home. This cheese toast with avocado is our new favorite and a yummy one at that.

Few other toast recipes I make at home for kid are milk toast, paneer cheese toast, corn cheese toast, potato toast recipes.

Avocado toast is a healthy and easy toast recipe made with mashed or finely chopped avocado and few other herbs. The veggies and herbs you include in the topping are completely random and you can add whatever you like.

I usually use guacamole as topping for this toast or make a simple avocado-tomato-onion-cilantro-cheese mix with salt, pepper and lemon juice and use it to make avocado cheese toast.

It is such a hearty and satiating dish, that just one toast with coffee keeps be going for hours. This is a very wholesome and snack or breakfast for toddlers and kids. You can pair this toast with badam or pistachio milk or chocolate milk for them.
